How To Uninstall libcgmanager0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libcgmanager0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcgmanager0

Central cgroup manager daemon (client library)Debian 8.0admin0.33-2+deb8u2
sudo apt-get remove libcgmanager0

This will remove just the libcgmanager0 package itself.

Uninstall libcgmanager0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcgmanager0

This will remove the libcgmanager0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcgmanager0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcgmanager0

Or similarly, like this libcgmanager0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcgmanager0
