How To Uninstall libcgsi-gsoap1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libcgsi-gsoap1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcgsi-gsoap1

GSI plugin for gSOAPDebian 8.0libs1.3.6-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove libcgsi-gsoap1

This will remove just the libcgsi-gsoap1 package itself.

Uninstall libcgsi-gsoap1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcgsi-gsoap1

This will remove the libcgsi-gsoap1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcgsi-gsoap1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcgsi-gsoap1

Or similarly, like this libcgsi-gsoap1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcgsi-gsoap1
