How To Uninstall libchise1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libchise1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libchise1

C language binding of CHISE, the character information databaseDebian 8.0libs0.3.0-2+b2
sudo apt-get remove libchise1

This will remove just the libchise1 package itself.

Uninstall libchise1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libchise1

This will remove the libchise1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libchise1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libchise1

Or similarly, like this libchise1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libchise1
