How To Uninstall libchm-bin On Debian 8

To uninstall libchm-bin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libchm-bin

library for dealing with Microsoft CHM files (test programs)Debian 8.0libdevel2:0.40a-3+b1
sudo apt-get remove libchm-bin

This will remove just the libchm-bin package itself.

Uninstall libchm-bin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libchm-bin

This will remove the libchm-bin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libchm-bin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libchm-bin

Or similarly, like this libchm-bin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libchm-bin
