How To Uninstall libclipper-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libclipper-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libclipper-dev

object oriented development kit for crystallographic computingDebian 8.0libdevel2.1.20130601-2
sudo apt-get remove libclipper-dev

This will remove just the libclipper-dev package itself.

Uninstall libclipper-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libclipper-dev

This will remove the libclipper-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libclipper-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libclipper-dev

Or similarly, like this libclipper-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libclipper-dev
