How To Uninstall libclipper2 On Debian 8

To uninstall libclipper2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libclipper2

object oriented library for crystallographic computingDebian 8.0libs2.1.20130601-2
sudo apt-get remove libclipper2

This will remove just the libclipper2 package itself.

Uninstall libclipper2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libclipper2

This will remove the libclipper2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libclipper2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libclipper2

Or similarly, like this libclipper2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libclipper2
