How To Uninstall libclippoly-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libclippoly-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libclippoly-dev

polygon clipping routines, development libraryDebian 8.0libdevel0.11-6
sudo apt-get remove libclippoly-dev

This will remove just the libclippoly-dev package itself.

Uninstall libclippoly-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libclippoly-dev

This will remove the libclippoly-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libclippoly-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libclippoly-dev

Or similarly, like this libclippoly-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libclippoly-dev
