How To Uninstall libclthreads2 On Debian 8

To uninstall libclthreads2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libclthreads2

POSIX threads C++ access libraryDebian 8.0libs2.4.0-5
sudo apt-get remove libclthreads2

This will remove just the libclthreads2 package itself.

Uninstall libclthreads2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libclthreads2

This will remove the libclthreads2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libclthreads2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libclthreads2

Or similarly, like this libclthreads2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libclthreads2
