How To Uninstall libcmocka0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libcmocka0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcmocka0

library for the CMocka unit testing frameworkDebian 8.0libs0.4.1-2
sudo apt-get remove libcmocka0

This will remove just the libcmocka0 package itself.

Uninstall libcmocka0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcmocka0

This will remove the libcmocka0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcmocka0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcmocka0

Or similarly, like this libcmocka0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcmocka0
