How To Uninstall libcmor2 On Debian 8

To uninstall libcmor2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcmor2

Climate Model Output Rewriter libraryDebian 8.0libs2.9.1-5
sudo apt-get remove libcmor2

This will remove just the libcmor2 package itself.

Uninstall libcmor2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcmor2

This will remove the libcmor2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcmor2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcmor2

Or similarly, like this libcmor2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcmor2
