How To Uninstall libcnoid-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libcnoid-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcnoid-dev

Integrated robotics GUI environment - development filesDebian 8.0libdevel1.1.0+dfsg-6.1+b4
sudo apt-get remove libcnoid-dev

This will remove just the libcnoid-dev package itself.

Uninstall libcnoid-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcnoid-dev

This will remove the libcnoid-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcnoid-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcnoid-dev

Or similarly, like this libcnoid-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcnoid-dev
