How To Uninstall libcnoid1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libcnoid1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcnoid1

Integrated robotics GUI environment - shared libraryDebian 8.0libs1.1.0+dfsg-6.1+b4
sudo apt-get remove libcnoid1

This will remove just the libcnoid1 package itself.

Uninstall libcnoid1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcnoid1

This will remove the libcnoid1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcnoid1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcnoid1

Or similarly, like this libcnoid1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcnoid1
