How To Uninstall libcobertura-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libcobertura-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcobertura-java

java library that calculates the percentage of code accessed by testsDebian 8.0java1.9.4.1+dfsg-4
sudo apt-get remove libcobertura-java

This will remove just the libcobertura-java package itself.

Uninstall libcobertura-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcobertura-java

This will remove the libcobertura-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcobertura-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcobertura-java

Or similarly, like this libcobertura-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcobertura-java
