How To Uninstall libcolord-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libcolord-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcolord-dev

system service to manage device colour profiles -- development filesDebian 8.0libdevel1.2.1-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove libcolord-dev

This will remove just the libcolord-dev package itself.

Uninstall libcolord-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcolord-dev

This will remove the libcolord-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcolord-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcolord-dev

Or similarly, like this libcolord-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcolord-dev
