How To Uninstall libcolord2 On Debian 8

To uninstall libcolord2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcolord2

system service to manage device colour profiles -- runtimeDebian 8.0libs1.2.1-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove libcolord2

This will remove just the libcolord2 package itself.

Uninstall libcolord2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcolord2

This will remove the libcolord2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcolord2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcolord2

Or similarly, like this libcolord2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcolord2
