How To Uninstall libcolorhug2 On Debian 8

To uninstall libcolorhug2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcolorhug2

library to access the ColorHug colourimeter -- runtimeDebian 8.0libs1.2.1-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove libcolorhug2

This will remove just the libcolorhug2 package itself.

Uninstall libcolorhug2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcolorhug2

This will remove the libcolorhug2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcolorhug2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcolorhug2

Or similarly, like this libcolorhug2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcolorhug2
