How To Uninstall libcommons-exec-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libcommons-exec-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcommons-exec-java

Java library to reliably execute external processes from within the JVMDebian 8.0java1.2-1
sudo apt-get remove libcommons-exec-java

This will remove just the libcommons-exec-java package itself.

Uninstall libcommons-exec-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcommons-exec-java

This will remove the libcommons-exec-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcommons-exec-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcommons-exec-java

Or similarly, like this libcommons-exec-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcommons-exec-java
