How To Uninstall libcommons-httpclient-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libcommons-httpclient-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcommons-httpclient-java

sudo apt-get remove libcommons-httpclient-java

This will remove just the libcommons-httpclient-java package itself.

Uninstall libcommons-httpclient-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcommons-httpclient-java

This will remove the libcommons-httpclient-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcommons-httpclient-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcommons-httpclient-java

Or similarly, like this libcommons-httpclient-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcommons-httpclient-java
