How To Uninstall libcommons-math-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libcommons-math-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcommons-math-java

Java lightweight mathematics and statistics componentsDebian 8.0java2.2-4
sudo apt-get remove libcommons-math-java

This will remove just the libcommons-math-java package itself.

Uninstall libcommons-math-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcommons-math-java

This will remove the libcommons-math-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcommons-math-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcommons-math-java

Or similarly, like this libcommons-math-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcommons-math-java
