How To Uninstall libcommons-pool-java On Debian 8

This will remove just the libcommons-pool-java package itself.

Uninstall libcommons-pool-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcommons-pool-java

This will remove the libcommons-pool-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcommons-pool-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
