How To Uninstall libconfuse0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libconfuse0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libconfuse0

Library for parsing configuration filesDebian 8.0libs2.7-5
sudo apt-get remove libconfuse0

This will remove just the libconfuse0 package itself.

Uninstall libconfuse0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libconfuse0

This will remove the libconfuse0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libconfuse0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libconfuse0

Or similarly, like this libconfuse0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libconfuse0
