How To Uninstall libcortado-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libcortado-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcortado-java

streaming applet for Ogg formats -- shared componentsDebian 8.0java0.6.0-2
sudo apt-get remove libcortado-java

This will remove just the libcortado-java package itself.

Uninstall libcortado-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcortado-java

This will remove the libcortado-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcortado-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcortado-java

Or similarly, like this libcortado-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcortado-java
