How To Uninstall libcppdb-postgresql0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libcppdb-postgresql0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcppdb-postgresql0

SQL Connectivity Library (PostgreSQL backend)Debian 8.0libs0.3.1+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove libcppdb-postgresql0

This will remove just the libcppdb-postgresql0 package itself.

Uninstall libcppdb-postgresql0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcppdb-postgresql0

This will remove the libcppdb-postgresql0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcppdb-postgresql0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcppdb-postgresql0

Or similarly, like this libcppdb-postgresql0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcppdb-postgresql0
