How To Uninstall libcr-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libcr-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcr-dbg

Libraries to Checkpoint and Restart Linux processesDebian 8.0debug0.8.5-2.2
sudo apt-get remove libcr-dbg

This will remove just the libcr-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libcr-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcr-dbg

This will remove the libcr-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcr-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcr-dbg

Or similarly, like this libcr-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcr-dbg
