How To Uninstall libcrystalhd3 On Debian 8

To uninstall libcrystalhd3 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcrystalhd3

Crystal HD Video Decoder (shared library)Debian 8.0libs1:0.0~git20110715.fdd2f19-11
sudo apt-get remove libcrystalhd3

This will remove just the libcrystalhd3 package itself.

Uninstall libcrystalhd3 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcrystalhd3

This will remove the libcrystalhd3 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcrystalhd3 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcrystalhd3

Or similarly, like this libcrystalhd3

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcrystalhd3
