How To Uninstall libcsound64-6.0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libcsound64-6.0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcsound64-6.0

main library for CsoundDebian 8.0libs1:6.03.2~dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove libcsound64-6.0

This will remove just the libcsound64-6.0 package itself.

Uninstall libcsound64-6.0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcsound64-6.0

This will remove the libcsound64-6.0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcsound64-6.0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcsound64-6.0

Or similarly, like this libcsound64-6.0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcsound64-6.0
