How To Uninstall libctpl2 On Debian 8

To uninstall libctpl2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libctpl2

template engine written in CDebian 8.0libs0.3.3.dfsg-4
sudo apt-get remove libctpl2

This will remove just the libctpl2 package itself.

Uninstall libctpl2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libctpl2

This will remove the libctpl2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libctpl2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libctpl2

Or similarly, like this libctpl2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libctpl2
