How To Uninstall libcunit1-ncurses On Debian 8

To uninstall libcunit1-ncurses just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcunit1-ncurses

Unit Testing Library for C (ncurses)Debian 8.0libs2.1-2.dfsg-2
sudo apt-get remove libcunit1-ncurses

This will remove just the libcunit1-ncurses package itself.

Uninstall libcunit1-ncurses and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcunit1-ncurses

This will remove the libcunit1-ncurses package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcunit1-ncurses then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcunit1-ncurses

Or similarly, like this libcunit1-ncurses

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcunit1-ncurses
