How To Uninstall libcurl4-gnutls-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libcurl4-gnutls-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcurl4-gnutls-dev

development files and documentation for libcurl (GnuTLS flavour)Debian 8.0libdevel7.38.0-4+deb8u5
sudo apt-get remove libcurl4-gnutls-dev

This will remove just the libcurl4-gnutls-dev package itself.

Uninstall libcurl4-gnutls-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcurl4-gnutls-dev

This will remove the libcurl4-gnutls-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcurl4-gnutls-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcurl4-gnutls-dev

Or similarly, like this libcurl4-gnutls-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcurl4-gnutls-dev
