How To Uninstall libcvector2-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libcvector2-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcvector2-dev

ANSI C implementation of dynamic arrays (development files)Debian 8.0libdevel1.0.3.1-1.1
sudo apt-get remove libcvector2-dev

This will remove just the libcvector2-dev package itself.

Uninstall libcvector2-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcvector2-dev

This will remove the libcvector2-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcvector2-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcvector2-dev

Or similarly, like this libcvector2-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcvector2-dev
