How To Uninstall libdacs1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libdacs1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdacs1

Distributed Access Control System (DACS) - shared libraryDebian 8.0libs1.4.28b-3
sudo apt-get remove libdacs1

This will remove just the libdacs1 package itself.

Uninstall libdacs1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdacs1

This will remove the libdacs1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdacs1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdacs1

Or similarly, like this libdacs1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdacs1
