How To Uninstall libdapl2 On Debian 8

To uninstall libdapl2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdapl2

Direct Access Programming Library (DAPL)Debian 8.0libs2.1.2-2
sudo apt-get remove libdapl2

This will remove just the libdapl2 package itself.

Uninstall libdapl2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdapl2

This will remove the libdapl2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdapl2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdapl2

Or similarly, like this libdapl2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdapl2
