How To Uninstall libdar64-5000 On Debian 8

To uninstall libdar64-5000 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdar64-5000

Disk ARchiveDebian 8.0libs2.4.15-1
sudo apt-get remove libdar64-5000

This will remove just the libdar64-5000 package itself.

Uninstall libdar64-5000 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdar64-5000

This will remove the libdar64-5000 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdar64-5000 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdar64-5000

Or similarly, like this libdar64-5000

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdar64-5000
