How To Uninstall libdbus-glib-1-2-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libdbus-glib-1-2-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdbus-glib-1-2-dbg

simple interprocess messaging system (GLib library debug symbols)Debian 8.0debug0.102-1
sudo apt-get remove libdbus-glib-1-2-dbg

This will remove just the libdbus-glib-1-2-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libdbus-glib-1-2-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdbus-glib-1-2-dbg

This will remove the libdbus-glib-1-2-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdbus-glib-1-2-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdbus-glib-1-2-dbg

Or similarly, like this libdbus-glib-1-2-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdbus-glib-1-2-dbg
