How To Uninstall libddccontrol0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libddccontrol0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libddccontrol0

shared library for ddccontrolDebian 8.0libs0.4.2-11
sudo apt-get remove libddccontrol0

This will remove just the libddccontrol0 package itself.

Uninstall libddccontrol0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libddccontrol0

This will remove the libddccontrol0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libddccontrol0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libddccontrol0

Or similarly, like this libddccontrol0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libddccontrol0
