How To Uninstall libderbyclient-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libderbyclient-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libderbyclient-java

Apache Derby Client JDBC DriverDebian 8.0java10.10.2.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libderbyclient-java

This will remove just the libderbyclient-java package itself.

Uninstall libderbyclient-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libderbyclient-java

This will remove the libderbyclient-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libderbyclient-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libderbyclient-java

Or similarly, like this libderbyclient-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libderbyclient-java
