How To Uninstall libdhash1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libdhash1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdhash1

Dynamic hash tableDebian 8.0libs0.4.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libdhash1

This will remove just the libdhash1 package itself.

Uninstall libdhash1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdhash1

This will remove the libdhash1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdhash1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdhash1

Or similarly, like this libdhash1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdhash1
