How To Uninstall libdico1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libdico1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdico1

RFC 2229 compliant modular dictionary server (shared library)Debian 8.0libs2.2-8
sudo apt-get remove libdico1

This will remove just the libdico1 package itself.

Uninstall libdico1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdico1

This will remove the libdico1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdico1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdico1

Or similarly, like this libdico1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdico1
