How To Uninstall libdjvulibre-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libdjvulibre-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdjvulibre-dev

Development files for the DjVu image formatDebian 8.0libdevel3.5.25.4-4+b1
sudo apt-get remove libdjvulibre-dev

This will remove just the libdjvulibre-dev package itself.

Uninstall libdjvulibre-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdjvulibre-dev

This will remove the libdjvulibre-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdjvulibre-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdjvulibre-dev

Or similarly, like this libdjvulibre-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdjvulibre-dev
