How To Uninstall libdom4j-java-doc On Debian 8

To uninstall libdom4j-java-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdom4j-java-doc

sudo apt-get remove libdom4j-java-doc

This will remove just the libdom4j-java-doc package itself.

Uninstall libdom4j-java-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdom4j-java-doc

This will remove the libdom4j-java-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdom4j-java-doc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdom4j-java-doc
