How To Uninstall libdotconf0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libdotconf0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libdotconf0

Configuration file parser library - runtime filesDebian 8.0libs1.3-0.2
sudo apt-get remove libdotconf0

This will remove just the libdotconf0 package itself.

Uninstall libdotconf0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libdotconf0

This will remove the libdotconf0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libdotconf0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libdotconf0

Or similarly, like this libdotconf0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libdotconf0
