How To Uninstall libduo-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libduo-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libduo-dev

Duo Security development libraries and header filesDebian 8.0libdevel1.9.11-1
sudo apt-get remove libduo-dev

This will remove just the libduo-dev package itself.

Uninstall libduo-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libduo-dev

This will remove the libduo-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libduo-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libduo-dev

Or similarly, like this libduo-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libduo-dev
