How To Uninstall libduo3 On Debian 8

To uninstall libduo3 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libduo3

Duo Security libraryDebian 8.0libs1.9.11-1
sudo apt-get remove libduo3

This will remove just the libduo3 package itself.

Uninstall libduo3 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libduo3

This will remove the libduo3 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libduo3 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libduo3

Or similarly, like this libduo3

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libduo3
