How To Uninstall libec0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libec0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libec0

Library for modular symbols and elliptic curves over QDebian 8.0libs2014-09-21-1
sudo apt-get remove libec0

This will remove just the libec0 package itself.

Uninstall libec0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libec0

This will remove the libec0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libec0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libec0

Or similarly, like this libec0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libec0
