How To Uninstall libedata-book-1.2-20 On Debian 8

To uninstall libedata-book-1.2-20 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libedata-book-1.2-20

sudo apt-get remove libedata-book-1.2-20

This will remove just the libedata-book-1.2-20 package itself.

Uninstall libedata-book-1.2-20 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libedata-book-1.2-20

This will remove the libedata-book-1.2-20 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libedata-book-1.2-20 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libedata-book-1.2-20
