How To Uninstall libedbus1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libedbus1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libedbus1

D-Bus and HAL wrapper libraries for use with the EFLDebian 8.0libs1.7.10-1
sudo apt-get remove libedbus1

This will remove just the libedbus1 package itself.

Uninstall libedbus1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libedbus1

This will remove the libedbus1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libedbus1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libedbus1

Or similarly, like this libedbus1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libedbus1
