How To Uninstall libedje-bin On Debian 8

To uninstall libedje-bin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libedje-bin

Various binaries for use with libedjeDebian 8.0devel1.8.6-2.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove libedje-bin

This will remove just the libedje-bin package itself.

Uninstall libedje-bin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libedje-bin

This will remove the libedje-bin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libedje-bin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libedje-bin

Or similarly, like this libedje-bin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libedje-bin
