How To Uninstall libeet-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libeet-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libeet-dev

Enlightenment DR17 file chunk reading/writing library development filesDebian 8.0libdevel1.8.6-2.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove libeet-dev

This will remove just the libeet-dev package itself.

Uninstall libeet-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libeet-dev

This will remove the libeet-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libeet-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libeet-dev

Or similarly, like this libeet-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libeet-dev
