How To Uninstall libefivar0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libefivar0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libefivar0

Library to manage UEFI variablesDebian 8.0libs0.15-3
sudo apt-get remove libefivar0

This will remove just the libefivar0 package itself.

Uninstall libefivar0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libefivar0

This will remove the libefivar0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libefivar0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libefivar0

Or similarly, like this libefivar0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libefivar0
