How To Uninstall libefreet-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libefreet-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libefreet-dev

Development files for libefreet and libefreet-mimeDebian 8.0libdevel1.8.6-2.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove libefreet-dev

This will remove just the libefreet-dev package itself.

Uninstall libefreet-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libefreet-dev

This will remove the libefreet-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libefreet-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libefreet-dev

Or similarly, like this libefreet-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libefreet-dev
